Gameplay

This is a 2D tile-based game that is very much inspired by the flash game Motherload. The player can mine for ores, sell them, and buy upgrades. The further down the player goes, more valuable ores will start showing up. Over time, the player's energy will deplete, and it must be replenished or the game will end with a game over. The player can also die if they take enough fall damage.

In the main menu, the player gets to choose their name and color. Afterwords, they have the choice to either play single player, or to play multiplayer with someone else's local ip address.

This is the store screen where the player sells the ores that they mine.

With that money, they can buy a variety of upgrades. This includes a faster drill, a larger maximum energy, more health, as well as more inventory space. These will let the player go deeper into the ground and faster.

This is the replenishing station where the player can refuel on energy and heal. Here, the player can also buy some explosives. Small explosions destroy all blocks around the player with a radius of one. The larger explosions have a radius of two. Deep underground are rocks that can only be destroyed with explosions.
